-WHAT IS A BIBLE CHRISTIAN?

In a world where most people seem to be labeled "Christian" no matter who or what they believe in or practice, there still is a dividing line of who a true Christian is. That dividing line is the Bible (The Word Of God). According to the Bible, a Christian is a person who was convicted by the Holy Spirit through the preaching or reading of God's Word and they were convinced they were a lost sinner headed for Hell and was short of the glory of God. They then respond by receiving the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross through faith and repentance which makes them born-again by the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit then indwells the born-again believer and then the believer is sealed unto the day of redemption. The Christian still has one thing to live with that did not get redeemed in the salvation experience and that one thing is called the flesh. This is one of the three enemies of the Christian; the other two are the world and the Devil.

A Christian is a sinner saved by God's grace, and anyone who is a Christian according to the Bible will have a change of mind that results in a change of life, which the Christian will receive the chastening hand of God if the Christian decides to sin willfully. Any person who claims to be a Christian and lives a sinful life without chastisement is not a Christian (Hebrews 12). Knowing this, you need to ask yourself whether you are a "Christian" according to the world's definition or a BIBLE CHRISTIAN.
