Did Jesus condemn judging?

The answer is yes and no. I hate to sound like a broken record, but this is another classic case of liberals not being able to keep things in the context. They just quote Matthew 7:1 that says, "Judge not, that ye be not judged." But the problem is they don't even scratch the surface. In this same chapter of Matthew 7, Jesus teaches us how to judge false prophets in verses 15 through 20. To give the correct answer concerning the question at hand, we are to read verses 2 through 5 of Matthew 7. You will find that Jesus is not condemning judging as a whole, but he is simply condemning hypocritical judgment. Before I judge someone about something, I must first judge myself. That is how I can become spiritual and will be "judged of no man" (1 Corinthians 2:15). Jesus clarifies this more in John 7:24 when He tells us to "judge righteous judgment." And as a matter of fact, Revelation 19:11 says about Jesus, "…and in righteousness he doth judge and make war." To top it all off, we cannot avoid judging because proper judging is essential to our direction in life. Liberals themselves cannot avoid judging because they judge those who judge them. But I'm not the one who claims that I don't judge. (Selah!)
